Garland's variety revue titled, "Judy Garland; At Home at the Palace"
opens on Broadway at the Palace Theatre. Joining her onstage to perform
were her children, Lorna and Joey Luft. The show ran for 32
performances.

is driven on the surface of the moon by astronauts as part of the Apollo
15 mission
