"Oliver!"),  television and radio performer (most notably as Neddy 
Seagoon on "The  Goon Show") and Parlophone Records artist (whose "Goon 
Show" recordings  were produced by George Martin), dies from prostate 
cancer at his home  in Shamley Green, Guildford, Surrey, England at age 
79
